Ok I have window's Vista which seriously seems to hate palace. The problem I'm having is when ever I add an avatar to palace from paint shop pro 7 to edit it, palace will say program not responding and shut it down. So all edit's I've done go right out the window. I've tried everything from changing to a brand new prop bag, reinstalling paint shop pro, and even reinstalling palace with no luck. Anyone else having this problem or have a suggestion to fix it?
The only thing I can come up with is: Palace makes a temporary propfile when you open it, this is where it puts all the props and edits you see / edit in that Palace session. If for some reason Vista locks this props file or kills writing privileges for the Palace folder this might cause Palace to die.
I'm not a vista user so can't really try anything, perhaps you should check the Palace folder permissions? Or maybe there is some compatibility setting for the Palace folder like on XP?
