Give out the IP you get from this site:

http://www.whatismyip.com/

Usually that solves the prblem. If not, please be more specific what type of server, how do you connect to the internet etc.

I am having the sme problem. I can get to my palace but no one else can. I have given them the ip number and also used the link you provided above and still not working. Any and all help is greatly appreciated with this. Thanks.

I have dsl connection and don't have a paid server...am just using it through my computer right now. The ip number is staying the same so far each time I come on.

Do you ever thought about a dynamic dns?
You can get five at www.dyndns.org
When put your Client-Ip in the dynamic Dns.
If you have XP you can get the ip over Connections to the internet.
Or is your palace in a network?
After that put in at the server the require entry page for example http://remad-palace.dyndns.tv.
At let me specify... the http://your.domain.com again!
That's all. Now you can have visitors. If that does work, please tell me our palaces ips or names. So that i can visit you! Remad@web.de

sounds like a problem with your firewall. do you have one running? you'll have to read your firewall documentation to open your ports. usually this means that you have to manually configure the palace server program permissions to something like 'permit all'.

hope this helps

Is your PC the one that is directly connected to the internet? Or are you connected through another computer?

In that case I'm afraid you will not get this to work. The only option is to give up or install your Palace server on the other computer.

If you just need the other PC to run your server you can leave your props and Palace client on the computer you are using right now.

If you made proprooms you will need to more the Pserver.prp file to the other computer and copy it to the psdata folder.

hi folks,
i was running my server on my own puter, when i added a pear to pear network at home noone could visit anymore. facts are:
palaceserver is running on the direct connected puter, i use a redirecting host service which worked well and still works for the ftp server i?m running, sometimes the log shows it listens to the internal network ip sometimes it listens to the modem ip, using no firewall either.

so my q: is there anything i can do to get it run for my visitors again?

would be great if anyone can help Rolling Eyes

If you have your firewall off and all that and its still not letting people onto your palace then this is your problem.

you are using a router to split more then one computer to the internet. That was my problem my parents had to by a hub and pay for two ip address (cause we got three computers) till people could get on my palace.
