I saw that too. A typical kiddie hacker will actually do the site index page, not a forum category topic. Easy fix for Maarten.
Maarten, check out the forum index page or when reading this the thread, the header.

o00o0o okaaay did not see that, sadly its true this phpbb has bad security record, turns out I forgot to apply the latest security patches after moving to the new server.
So highly motivated after that exxtremely clever hack (actually i think its nice they just pointed out the forum has a hole in it instead of fuxin it up) I applied all the patches i could find and will be waiting... not sure for what but.. well you know.. it just sounds cool.
lock and load! |

Yah, it actually was pretty nice, but i just don't like the term hacking, like he is mitnick or something, when really just running something. But dont matter, all is well.
By the way, good thing about the patches ; D |

Hi well thanks for pointing that out, Like I said before I think its pretty nice of you to just showing the security hole instead of abusing it.
Never got any e-mail from you thought, I should get anything you send to *@palaceplanet
Anyway, might as well ask: did the patches work? |

I'll check with my host, not much I can do on this server, i did find the tool your talking about. Will try to point my host to this.
But the site scripts should be secure now? Or is it the server itself. |
