greetings
My problem is I can't connect to a certain palace while others can connect to that same pal. I know for sure I'm NOT banned there .... when I try to connect I keep getting the following message "Winsock Error: 10053 Software caused connection abort.
I don't have this problem with any other palace and also my firewall is turned off. .
I hope anyone can help me.
would be really nice ... tnx in advance !!!

It is possible you just haave a bad connection, is there a website for this Palace you can try? Winsocck errors usually just mean the line betweeen you and the server is not good enought to let the Palace connect. Usually a bigger problem with perssonal windows servers the hosted/ Linux servers.

Did you try to 'ping' the server?

On Windows: In start menu click on 'run' type CMD then press enter. You now get a DOS window there you can type: ping server name or server IP.

This will get you a list of 3 connection attempts with the time it takes to connect. the longer it takes the worse your connection is. Somewhere betweeen 20ms and 250ms is aceptable.
