I've had palace for a month or so with no problems whatsoever but now, for the past few days I get on like normal and after about 3 or 4 minutes everything just kind of stops. It doesn't freeze, but when I try to type something and press enter, nothing happens and everyone stops talking and moving but I can still move around. It doesn't give me an error, I have to connect to palace again and go back. Now I can't get on anymore because of this and I don't know what the problem is. I'm not running any anti-virus, I am running windows firewall but that's it. It worked fine before, and I don't remember installing anything that would cause these problems like updates or anything like that. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling also. Someone help please. :[ |

Sounds like a graphics card or XP problem.
Your using Windows XP?
You could experiement with the following: graphics or screen acceleration setting. Forgot where it is to be honest.
Another simple trick that solves some XP problems and mentioned often on the forum is: compatibility.
right click your Palace icon and go to properties.
Select compatibility and set it to windows 98. now see if this helps, if not and no joy with the screen acceleration: I'm afraid all you can do is check what program you installed after Palace and see if uninstalling this might help. |
