This was suppose to be some highly critical movie about the enviroment and the polution of the modern world.
Ok perhaps having someone telling the American vice president "your wrong" is considered highly critical by some. But I doubt thats anywhere in the democratic world. This is nothing more then a giant freezer obsessed Newyorkcycle drama. Sure its fun to see L.A being hoovered up by hurricanes and cameracrews splattered by billboards. But if you are going to send 300ft waves to New York it might be a good idea to give some sort of reason for this.
To be honest I found this a pretty boring movie, but this seems to be the latest trend: just pretend people wil see a fantastic movie in the trailers, who knows they might forget to look at the actual movie for the 2 hours theyr in the cinema. Afterall the media is able to present most of the world with theyr truth these days anyway and people want to believe them. |
