Palace planet is rebuild...

But not completely, a few glitches have to be sorted out. Hundreds of links have been moved to the new link system and templates need to be adjusted.

Not everything will look as sexy as before, but we are working hard to put everything in the right place and looking good doing so.

Feel free to comment or give any feedback / suggestions. Its a big site and i can't see all, so the more eyes looking the better!

First I want to say that this new site is much nicer. :D

The frontpage is very well-organized. I like that.

One thing I think is strange, is the calander on the frontpage on the left.
It would be better if you do the calander one down or not at all on the frontpage and the nav-menu one step up. But thats my opinion :P

Thanks, I think its pretty cool too, nice and clean. A lot easier to manage as well. Its to bad people have to re-figure out how things work though.

I guess we need a website feature explanation, maybe someone can help out with this?

The calendar position actually comes from one of the first versions of Palace Planet. Back then people used the events calendar a lot so it was cool to see what event was coming or happening that day. I can understand that right now it looks a bit out of place.

This is posted in the news forum, meaning it shows up under the new threads as news. You will only see how many replies it got. I'm still testing things out, I figured it would be double if both show up. Who knows, perhaps i can add the thread and the news together.

Yes feature explanations, where to look for certain info and how to edit your profile I guess. Maybe in the FAQ or just as a separate forum? Something obvious because we already had one girl posting that couldn't find the info when it really was right there: the how to start guide.

But that is a link on the left menu only right now and for some reason people miss the big Manual button.

Let me know if you like it or don't like it.
Maybe this is total different what you had in mind.

The file is still 22 mb so it need a little load time. I need to reduce it.

It is just a test, I didn't want to spend a whole day to it and then to get to hear its totally wrong :P.

If you scroll down there is a navigation bar.

Ps now I had a good reason to test the program. :P

Thats really cool, i love it! Nice job on the explanations of features as well.

I guess you can split it up into more feature specific stuff, make some screencap of the nav bar with hot links to little movies?

Anyway ice job, this is cool for the manuals section. Are you ready to make more? :P

I was thinking to make a kind of menu where you can choose different guides.
So you don't get one big file and you can choose wich part you want to know about. I can image some people already understand the profile part of the forum because other forums use that to.

Also I was thinking to make the guides 1024x768.
Now it is 1248x1024, but I noticed on my laptop it is to big for the screen.
