Palace Client 3.6 Update

For anyone intrested: the updated Palace client is now available.

Its nothing major, most of the updates are cosmetic and the menu has more logical names like "import Avatar" instead of the cryptic "paste multiple props"

Basically more newbie friendly. You can just get the program only without any bookmarks, propfile or scripts here:

PC only I'm afraid, just download this to your Palace directory it will work next to your existing Palace client. this way you can see if this is for you or not.

Newbies can dowload the Palace client from the Quick menu.

I've got the new client, and I must say its just nicer to use. Lots of cleaned up features and what not. Worth the upgrade.

i am having trouble getting the pc 3.6 client to download from the home page can anyone help...pleaseeeeeeee ?

there is a dll missing in the download for the exe for client 3.6 helppppppp please

It is? When I click on the 3.6 Palace Client for Windows (.exe only) link the .exe downloads for me. You sure your firewall isn't blocking .exe downloads? For the full client install you should use the other link: 3.6 Palace Client for Windows

What I am trying to do is to get the 3.5 that I have upgraded to 3.6.
When I select the upgrade 3.6.1 it gives me the install ok but that install when activated gives me a msg .......This application has failed to start because PPAHOOK.dll was not found.

Ah right, I misread you said dll.

This means the 3.6 client is installed in the wrong folder, all you have to do is copy the 3.6 client exe to the folder of your old palace client and thats it.

I also like this 3.6 much better.

I didnt read far enuff myself hahaha I had the dll thingee also--but realized the file had to go in ThePalace folder--I have that in C all by itself --so I moved the file and voila it works hahaha I like it much better --course Ii use bhlabs log--which I really like and also use phalanx for a server checker-to make sure I uploaded pix etc so am used to being able to clear log as bhlabs log does-thanks hun---always nice to have any improvements!!

I have been using the 3.6 upgrade and have noticed that on some avs it looks like a color is missing and it comes up white. The color missing is a shade of black. Has anyone else noticed this?
