Every time I try to install Palace, it gets to "Searching for installed files.." and then it goes into 'Not Responding' and it won't install.

I've had Palace on this computer before, but I deleted it. I checked and it's completely gone.

I'm using Windows XP, and I've tried it with all my other programs closed and it does the exact same thing.

Where are you downloading it from and what version of palace is it?

Also... do you have admin privileges on your account on XP?

When it does the search does it have a "Browse" button on it?, if so why not click it and search for the directory where you installed it like an example "C:/Program Files/Communities.com/The Palace/thepalace.exe" if thats it's directory then do that, if it doesn't work then sorry i cant help im no good with Palace =) thats all the information i can give.

You can always just download the NO-INSTALL.zip file, this is a older client zipped with all the right files.

You can unpack it to anywhere you want and add the new client yourself by downloading the client.exe only and unpacking it to the same folder.
